What you can expect

Begin your adventure with a short hike along the famous Little Bear Trail to the base of the Jyrävä waterfall. Before entering the river, practice safety and paddling techniques in calm waters.

Start your journey in the impressive Kitka Canyon, followed by a series of gentle Class I–II rapids. Let the river carry you through taiga forest landscapes, offering a unique combination of scenery and silence.

Along the way, safely store personal items such as cameras in a dry bag. End your trip in the eastern border zone, followed by a return transfer to Basecamp.
