Make the most of your visit to the Wielkopolska region by taking a journey southwards to the historic town of Kornik, where you can discover the 14th-century castle and its hidden treasures of ancient armaments, period furniture, and extensive art collection. Originally belonging to the noble Gorka family, Kornik castle's current neo-gothic style can be attributed to the architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel, who remodeled the castle in the 1800s according to British trends.
