What you can expect

Blast off into interstellar adventure as you check out NASA's Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Learn about the history of American space exploration in this highly interactive and educational facility packed with exhibits, shows, and films sure to bring out your inner astronaut.

Begin your day at Space Shuttle Atlantis and come nose-to-nose with this legendary space shuttle, which boasts 33 successful space missions. While you're here, strap into the not-to-be-missed Shuttle Launch Experience® and live through a true-to-life simulation of the space shuttle’s 8.5-minute ascent into orbit.

Next, at Astronaut Encounter, make the most of the unique and rare opportunity to spend time with veteran NASA astronauts. Listen as these space explorers regale you with personal stories of their missions and answer any questions you may have about space travel.

Before you take off, venture to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you can admire the enormity of the largest rocket ever built—the heroic-sized, 363-foot (111-m) Saturn V, before reaching out to touch a bonafide moon rock hand-delivered to Earth by space-walking astronauts.
