What you can expect

Discover the legendary history of Kanchanaburi from a whole new perspective. Board your own private longtail boat with a local captain and enjoy the exceptional experience of gliding directly underneath the famous River Kwai Bridge.

During this scenic 2.5-hour private cruise, we will make two fascinating stops along the river. First, we will visit the underground cave at Wat Tham Khao Pun, located just a short 10-minute walk uphill. Inside, you can explore nine unique chambers filled with Thai religious sculptures, including an impressive reclining Buddha statue.

Next, we will step ashore at the original JEATH War Museum. Here, you will dive deep into Kanchanaburi’s historical past and witness powerful exhibits detailing the harrowing experiences of World War II prisoners of war.

If conditions allow, we might also make a bonus stop at the Chungkai Military Cemetery. Please note that the entrance to this site is through a private gate, and we never know in advance whether the owner will have it open. If it is accessible on the day of your tour, it makes for a wonderful extra visit before we cruise back to the iconic bridge to conclude our journey.
