After a short briefing at our office, we will set off on a guided tour to enjoy one of Watamu’s most captivating experiences: an adventure through the Arabuko Forest, Kenya’s green lung, where nature is still pure, wild, and untouched, and the Gede Ruins, one of Kenya’s few archaeological sites.
The route winds through sandy trails, quiet clearings, and stretches of savanna where, with a bit of luck, we may spot baboons, buffalo, elephants, and other animals that inhabit this reserve, a natural habitat for many exotic species.
The highlight of the excursion is the lake hidden among the vegetation: here, during the quietest times of the day, you may catch sight of elephants coming down to drink, a unique and thrilling encounter that will stay with you forever.
After the tour, we will head to a scenic spot that is perfect for a sunset aperitif prepared especially for you, featuring wine, cold beers, and soft drinks, all in the absolute silence of the mangroves.
A simple and authentic moment, where everything slows down and Kenya reveals itself in its most genuine form.
This excursion combines adventure, nature, and history – designed for those who want to experience Watamu beyond the usual routes.
