This trail has a relatively even surface most of the way! Please ask about wheel chairs and baby strollers!

Activity itinerary

Start by meeting your guide at the Fred Burr Reservoir Trailhead in Victor, MT. Your guide will provide backpacks and help pack your bags. The guide will also review safety procedures and lead the hike as you set off. Along the way, expect plenty of breaks. This hike is not a race! This 4.5 mi (7.2 km) out-and-back trip is great for casual hikers. Along the way, we can plan to lengthen or shorten our trip a bit, as desired. There are plenty of scenic places to stop on this hike! Halfway through the hike, we will stop to enjoy the views, have a snack, drink a fresh cup of tea/coffee or cool, refreshing, pure snow-melt! We'll then turn around and hike back out to the trailhead where we started! This hike is accessible to all, and can be extended or shortened to suit physical needs! It is recommended that groups with particular physical requirements book a custom, private hike.
