Join a live-fire grilling workshop at Takkokken, a cooking school and restaurant in Sarrià de Ter, just 10 minutes from Girona's old town. Learn to cook vegetables, meat, and fish over live coals and wood, combining charcoal and firewood in the traditional 'brasa' style.

Master the art of controlling temperature with an open fire, just as precisely as with any conventional heat source. Go back to the roots of live-fire cooking to master different techniques and build a full meal from them.

Move from long, slow-cooked preparations to quicker dishes that combine fish, meat, and vegetables, building up to a spectacular wide-cut beef entrecôte as the centerpiece. The workshop closes with a caramelized bun finished with direct heat.

Enjoy a welcome drink and a tasting meal with wine or water. Take home a recipe card and one preparation to recreate the experience at home.

Two ways to join: a shared group session on September 18, or a private group class, available on several days throughout the week — ideal if you want a more personalized pace.
