Your journey begins in central Kutaisi, where you'll meet your local guide and start your drive toward the Adjara region and the Black Sea coast.
The first stop is the Petra Fortress, a 6th-century Byzantine stronghold dramatically perched on a cliff in the village of Tsikhisdziri. Walk among the ancient ruins and take in panoramic sea views while learning about its strategic historical significance.
Next, head to the Batumi Botanical Garden, one of the largest and oldest in the region. Enjoy a ride on a local electric shuttle through its diverse landscapes, home to rare and exotic plant species from around the world, all set along the picturesque coastline.
In Batumi, dive into the city’s unique blend of modern architecture and history on a walking tour. Stroll down the iconic Batumi Boulevard, visit the Ali & Nino moving sculpture, the Alphabet Tower, and admire the contemporary sculptures along the seafront. Continue to Europe Square, where you’ll see the Medea Statue and the Astronomical Clock, while your guide shares the story of Medea and the Golden Fleece from Greek mythology.
After a day full of discoveries, you'll return to Kutaisi in the evening.
Tour duration: approximately 10–11 hours.
