What you can expect

This is a day for whisky lovers, coastal wanderers, and wildlife spotters alike – all wrapped up in one unforgettable Highland adventure.

We begin with a trip to the charming village of Findhorn, where a stroll along its peaceful beach sets the tone for a day of scenic discovery. From there, we hug the Moray coast to Portknockie, home of the striking Bow Fiddle Rock – a natural sea arch that rises dramatically from the waves. Next up is Cullen, a postcard-perfect fishing village and the birthplace of the creamy, comforting Cullen Skink soup. Enjoy some free time to explore and tuck into lunch before we hit the trail again.

Nature lovers are in for a treat at the Troup Head Nature Reserve, an RSPB site brimming with seabirds like gannets, guillemots, and razorbills. Keep your eyes peeled as puffins and even dolphins make appearances here in the right season! We then turn inland for the highlight of any Speyside journey – a visit to a traditional single malt whisky distillery. Learn how the “water of life” is crafted, and enjoy a tasting that brings the story full circle.

Before returning to Inverness, we make a final stop in Carrbridge, where the Highlands’ oldest stone bridge still stands which is a picture-perfect end to a day of coastal charm, wildlife, and whisky.

*Please note: wildlife encounters cannot be guaranteed
