What you can expect

Discover ancient stones, historic castles, Highland cows and breathtaking landscapes on this small-group unforgettable journey through the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

Our adventure begins at the mysterious Clava Cairns, one of Scotland’s best-preserved Bronze Age burial sites and known from the hit series Outlander. Step back in time as you explore these ancient stones and uncover their secrets.

Next, we visit the legendary Cawdor Castle, steeped in history and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Wander through its grand halls and hear the captivating tales that bring this Highland stronghold to life.

Afterwards, it’s time to meet one of Scotland’s most beloved locals – the Highland cow*! Capture the perfect photo with these iconic creatures before we stroll through a magnificent Scots Pine Forest, home to some of Scotland’s oldest native trees.

We pause for lunch in the lively town of Aviemore, a hub for outdoor enthusiasts and Highland charm. Then, we journey through the breathtaking Cairngorms National Park, with its dramatic landscapes and rich wildlife.

We round off our day at Rothiemurchus Farm Shop, which is a great spot to browse and treat yourself to some tasty local produce – find yourself the perfect taste of the Highlands to take home.

*The order of stops may vary, so you might see highland cows at a different point in the journey.
