What you can expect

Escape to one of Crete’s most unique natural landscapes with a full-day trip to Preveli Palm Beach, where a river, palm forest, and the Libyan Sea come together.

Your day begins with a comfortable pick-up between 08:00 and 10:30, followed by a scenic drive along the island’s southwest coast. A short stop in Skaleta allows time for breakfast or refreshments before continuing your journey.

By late morning, you’ll arrive above Preveli Beach, where stunning panoramic views open up over the coastline. From here, a 15-minute downhill walk (approx. 300 steps) leads you to the beach.

Once there, you’ll have around 4 hours of free time to enjoy this extraordinary setting. Swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea or the cool river, relax on the beach, walk through the palm forest, or explore the area’s natural beauty, including the famous heart-shaped rock.

In the afternoon, you’ll make your way back up the same path and continue your return journey, with a short stop along the way. You’ll arrive back at your accommodation between 18:30 and 19:45, after a day full of nature and relaxation.
