Day 1: Chavín de Huántar / Conchucos Valley - MORNING Reception at the bus terminal and transfer to the selected hotel - 8:30 am: Breakfast at the hotel. - 9:00 am: Visit to the ancient temple of Chavín. On this tour we will pass through Recuay, Ticapampa and Cátac, arriving at the Querococha Lagoon. - The tour continues its journey, this time we will appreciate the map of Peru (natural formation), we will pass through the impressive Cahuish Tunnel. - We will arrive at the Conchucos Valley with its Andean towns of Tambillos, Máchac, Quercos, and finally we will arrive at the Chavín Archaeological Monument. There we will observe the famous “Lanzón de Chavín”, Cabeza Clava, the Altar de Choque Chinchay, Pórtico de las Falcónidas, galleries, ceremonial squares, the Chavín National Museum. - 19:30: Arrival in Huaraz. Day 2: Excursion to the Pastoruri Snow-capped Mountain. - 8:30 am: Breakfast at the hotel. - 9:00 am: Departure to the Pastoruri Snow-capped Mountain, we head south of the city of Huaraz to see the beautiful Pastoruri Snow-capped Mountain. - We will enter the Huascarán National Park, visit the Patococha lagoon where we can see the Andean ducks. - We will take a walk of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, along “The Route of Climate Change”, then we will enjoy the beautiful snow-capped mountain, and appreciate the frozen lagoon. On the way back to Huaraz we will stop for lunch (not included). - 5:30 pm: Arrival in Huaraz. Day 3: Hike Laguna 69. - 5:00 am: Pick up at your hotel, we will depart in our private bus to the north side of the city of Huaraz on a paved road. - We will pass through the beautiful towns of Callejón de Huaylas, to reach the city of Yungay, from where we will head along an unpaved road to the east side of this city. - 8:00 am: Breakfast at the Llanganuco ravine (not included, S/ 10 approx per person), we enter the Huascarán National Park, we will observe the famous Llanganuco lagoons, to finally reach Onionpampa (3,850 masl). - We will demand until lagoon 69 (4,600 masl), with intense turquoise waters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains such as Chacraraju, Pisco, Huandoy, Huascarán. - We will stay approximately 1 hour in this lagoon to return to Cebollapampa and then we will take the bus back to the city of Huaraz. - 6:30 p.m.: Arrival in Huaraz. - At the coordinated time, transfer to the bus terminal.
