Know before you book

  • Children 1 and younger are complimentary.
  • Children 18 and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Hotel pickup is available from Ayers Rock Resort only. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.
  • The tour departs 105 minutes prior to sunrise and arrives 15 minutes prior to sunrise at the viewing area. You will receive confirmation of your exact tour departure time when you call to confirm your reservation.

What you can expect

Walk through Field of Light before sunrise, passing thousands of glowing coloured spheres and experience a magical sunrise over Uluru from atop a sand dune.

Experience Bruce Munro's Field of Light during the early morning as you stand in the midst of an ethereal art installation of thousands of tiny glass globes. Watch in awe as the sun rises over Uluru, this majestic rock formation and the entire desert suddenly illuminated in a warm orange glow.

In the quiet of pre-dawn, this once in a lifetime experience will be etched in your mind forever. Arrive at Field of Light while the earth is still blanketed in darkness and wander through the field of 50,000 glowing spheres of colour while Desert Oaks seemingly appear from nowhere as the dawn light creeps above the horizon. You’ll eventually make your way to the top of an ancient sand dune where you’ll see the first rays of sunrise set the desert sky alight, flooding the landscape with warm light while you enjoy tea, coffee and hot chocolate with stunning views of Uluru.
