Once on long-term lease and later purchased by the Jewish community, it includes a ritual purification house and has remained a nationally recognized heritage site despite occasional vandalism and storm damage over the years. Today it serves as a poignant reminder of the once‑vibrant Jewish population in the region and is occasionally still used for burials, maintained through ongoing restoration efforts.
