He visited only 14 times -Symbol of Power: The Eagle's Nest was a symbol of power for the Nazi regime, and decisions were made there -Survival: The Eagle's Nest was one of the few undamaged monuments of the Nazi era, as Allied bombing at the end of World War II did not damage the building
