This sensory journey, starting with our most innovative productions, will take you back to the 9th century with a tasting of Moscato Passito di Saracena, an extremely rare wine still made using the ancient Arab method.

The Maradei company extends across the villages of Saracena, Firmo, and Lungro, set between the Pollino National Park and the Upper Sybaris Valley, an area of unspoiled landscapes and strong cultural identity. Deeply connected to olive and vine cultivation, this land reflects centuries-old traditions where Upper Calabrian farming customs harmonize with the rituals and heritage of historic Arbëreshë communities, shaping a distinctive expression of olive oil and wine rooted in the territory.

Our production philosophy respects nature and time, creating wines that follow their own natural rhythm. Made exclusively from native grape varieties -Guarnaccia Bianca, Malvasia Bianca, Moscatello di Saracena, Malvasia Nera, and Magliocco Dolce - each wine is carefully aged in stainless steel, terracotta, or barrique, and then refined through extended bottle maturation to fully reveal its character and depth. We also produce exceptional extra virgin olive oil from historic cultivars, capturing the authenticity, richness, and heritage of our land.
