Catedral de San Blas

San Blas Cathedral, located in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, near Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, is an important religious and cultural landmark of the region. Built in 1964, the cathedral is the city's matrix and the oldest, with more than 50 years of history. Its unique design symbolizes the Ark of Noah, with a structure that resembles a ship, especially visible from the side, despite reforms in the front for enlarging. The interior is adorned with beautiful glass windows that enrich the visual experience. At the entrance, two sculptures of the Bible represent the Old and New Testaments. Renovated in 2015, the cathedral continues to be a spiritual and cultural meeting point, becoming an essential stop for those who visit Ciudad del Este.
El Mensu History Museum
