Arrive in Akita’s central entertainment district, where izakayas, small bars, and local drinking spots line the streets within walking distance of one another. Meet your guide at the starting point and get an introduction to the area, setting the tone for an evening spent moving through some of the city’s most characterful bar neighborhoods.

Move on foot between three separate venues across the area, each with its own atmosphere and style. At each stop, order drinks and food from the menu, paying separately at each venue.

Let your guide help you navigate the local drinking scene, pointing out what to order and sharing context about each spot as you settle in, drink, and then move on to the next destination.

By the time you reach the third bar, you will have visited three distinct corners of Akita’s nightlife, each chosen from Tabelog-listed establishments priced at 3,000 yen or under. Leave with a grounded sense of how locals drink and socialize in this part of Tohoku, having moved through the city’s bar districts at street level rather than from a tourist’s distance.
