What you can expect

  • Guided tour by electric-assist bicycle in the Alpilles Regional Nature Park, starting from the beautiful little village of Aureille.

    Every day, I take you on an e-bike along paths and back roads to discover unforgettable landscapes. The e-bike makes it easy to climb hills and explore hidden corners that are inaccessible by car or road bike.

    We'll leave the village by bike and, within a few minutes, we'll find ourselves in front of the Tour des Opies, the highest point of the Alpilles, for our first photo!

    We continue through the olive groves towards the Civadières Cliffs, where we may be able to spot two pairs of Bonelli's eagles…

    We'll head to the magnificent Roquemartine forest road for a freewheeling descent to the castle of the same name before entering the Vallon des Glauges. Here we are, cycling through the vineyards of Domaine Oddo to reach the banks of the Canal des Baux.

    We begin the return journey to Aureille along the GR long-distance footpath, which offers magnificent vantage points over the Opies and the Crau Plain. We'll pass a former 16th-century sheepfold and may have the privilege of seeing some of Virginie or Aurélie's goats…

    After almost 3 hours of riding, we will return to Aureille, where I will suggest that we enjoy a refreshing drink at the village bar. Just opposite, the former priory is now home to the most beautiful grocery store selling local products in the area! Cross the street and go in!

    As you can see, this is much more than just a bike ride – I invite you to enjoy a natural, fun, balanced, and memorable experience!
