Day 1: Arequipa to Camp Base

Accommodation: When we arrive at the camp we will prepare our tents and eat. This day ends with a beautiful sunset.

Pick up the passengers, in a 4×4 vehicle, travel in the direction of Chiguata, to the Pampas del Misti. The car trip lasts an hour and a half to 3,400 meters, where we will begin the tour. The ascent will take approximately five hours to the base camp, which is located at 4,665 meters. Along the way you can see the flora and fauna of the place such as cacti and different birds. When we arrive at the camp we will prepare our tents and eat. This day ends with a beautiful sunset.

Day 2: Misti Volcano summit

After breakfast at 3 a.m. we will begin the ascent towards the summit slowly for approximately six hours to the summit at 5,825 meters. From here you can see the Chachani volcanoes, Pichu Pichu, the Aguada Blanca National Reserve and a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Arequipa. After observing the landscape, resting and taking photos, we will begin the return to the base camp, the return being fun and easy. Here the car is waiting for us that will take us back to the city of Arequipa and its hotels. Arrival will be approximately 4:00 p.m.
