It is built on the western edge of the valley of Kopaida and it is flown through by the river Erkyna. Its picturesque neighborhoods nad the old houses catch your eye as well as the stone bridges at the springs of Krya, offer a lovely natural landscape with evergreen plane trees natural waterfalls and windmills. You can visit the Byzantine Castle, the Oracle (an underground stone building) the stone Theatre and the Clock. You can also enjoy a quick meal and taste what the town is known for its traditional souvlaki or you can explore the town and enjoy your cafe.
Delphi Archaeological Museum

The Archaeological Museum of Delphi, one of the most important in Greece, presents the history of the famous Delphic sanctuary and the most famous oracle of the ancient Greek world. Its rich collections include mainly architectural sculptures, statues and works of micro-art, dedications of the faithful to the sanctuary, which reflect its religious-political and artistic activity throughout its historical course, from the foundation of the Apollonian mosque in the 8th century. e.g. until its decline in the years of late antiquity.
Temple of Apollo
The ruins of the Temple of Apollo that are visible today date from the fourth century BC, and are of a peripteral Doric building. It was erected by Spintharus, Xenodoros, and Agathon on the remains of an earlier temple, dated to the sixth century BC, which had been erected on the site of a seventh-century BC construction attributed in legend to the architects Trophonios and Agamedes.
The Tholos of Delphi
The tholos at the sanctuary of Athena Pronaea is a circular building that was constructed between 380 and 360 BC. It consisted of 20 Doric columns arranged with an exterior diameter of 14.76 meters, with 10 Corinthian columns in the interior. The Tholos is located approximately a half a mile from the main ruins at Delphi. Three of the Doric columns have been restored, making it the most popular site at Delphi for tourists to take photographs.
Ancient Theatre
The ancient theatre at Delphi was built farther up the hill from the Temple of Apollo giving spectators a view of the entire sanctuary and the valley below. It was originally built in the fourth century BC, but was remodeled on several occasions, particularly in 160/159 B.C. at the expenses of king Eumenes II of Pergamon and, in 67 A.D., on the occasion of emperor Nero's visit.
Ancient Stadium
The Stadium of Delphi lies on the highest spot of the Archaeological Site of Delphi. It overlooks the sanctuary of Apollo and has a view to the Delphic landscape. It was built either within the second half of the 4th century B.C. or even after the Galatian attacks. Its measured 178 meters in length and knew several refurbishment phases. The Stadium of Delphi is the best preserved ancient stadium in Greece.

The place where it was established and flourished the greatest religious centre of ancient times. In 1987 Delfi was awarded the title of a monument of Unesco. After completing the tour of Delphi and enjoying your lunch in the Delphi area, we will depart for Kalambaka, where the overnight stay will take place.

Meteora, a place famous for its natural beauty and its monasteries situated on the edge, you will be impressed by the wonderful journey. Meteora consists a complex of huge dark sandstone rocks which rise above Kalampaka (list of world heritage sites of UNESCO). The average attitude is 313m. The formation of its geological landscape, has at times occupied some geologists however, it hasn’t been clarified. It is remarkable that it has not been mentioned in the Greek Mythology by Ancient Greeks or by foreign historians. This wild and inaccessible landscape has been an offerable space for the Christian eremites who settled there according to the Byzantinologists of the eleventh century.
Great Meteoron Monastery
