The walking tour starts in via Roma, the most important street in Cagliari.
Then we will visit the four old districts of Cagliari: we will discover Castello, Marina, Villanova and Stampace.
We will focus our attention on the history of the city, from the Roman age until nowdays. The past still lives thanks to monuments, churches, squares, narrow streets and tree-lined avenues, but also thanks to the traces left by the 1943 bombardments, which had severe consequences on the city we know today. The city itself tells us its own story.
During the tour we will also enjoy stunning panoramic views above the city from Castello hill.
The tour finishes in a very central location, Via Roma, close to Piazza Matteotti and with many typical Sardinian restaurants and shops nearby.
