The day after your Alcatraz visit is your bike tour date. The Streets of San Francisco Bike Tour will take place at 11:00 AM. Streets of San Francisco Bike Tour takes place on electric bikes, must be 13 years old to ride. Streets of San Francisco Bike tour run daily at 11am March 1- October 31.

For Alcatraz: Please report directly to Pier 33 at least 45 minutes before your tour departure.

For the bike tour: Please arrive at 2661 Taylor Street 30 minutes before the tour departure.

What you can expect

Experience two of San Francisco’s most iconic adventures with this 2-day Alcatraz and citywide e-bike tour package. On your selected booking date, head to Pier 33 to board the ferry to Alcatraz Island, where you’ll explore the former federal penitentiary with the award-winning audio tour. Wander through historic cell blocks, learn about infamous inmates like Al Capone, and take in panoramic views of the Bay before returning to the city.

The following day, meet your guide for a 15-mile electric bike tour through San Francisco’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Ride an energy-saving e-bike that makes hills easy as you explore North Beach, cruise along the waterfront to the Ferry Building, and pass Oracle Park and the Design District. Stop for a break at a local food-truck park before continuing into La Mission to admire colorful murals and rich cultural history.

Pedal through the iconic Castro District, home to Harvey Milk Plaza, and continue through the Wiggle into the legendary Haight-Ashbury area, birthplace of the Summer of Love. Finish the tour with a ride down Polk Street—an ever-evolving neighborhood layered with history—before returning to Fisherman’s Wharf. Guests may keep their e-bike until closing time or return it after the tour.

PLEASE NOTE: Date of booking is date of Alcatraz trip. Alcatraz afternoon departure time will be emailed separately to visitors approximately 3 days before departure.
