A: If you choose a Visa prepaid card, you can use it anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted around the world. Gift cards can be used with the applicable retailer.
Q: What do I do once I receive my redemption email?
A:
- Click the redemption link to claim your gift card.
- Choose the gift card(s) for which you'd like to redeem.
- Select the value of the gift card. You can manually enter a dollar amount or choose from the pre-selected drop-down menu.
- Select Add to Cart.
- If you have a remaining balance and would like to choose another option, repeat Steps 2–4.
- Once you've selected the gift cards you'd like to redeem, click Checkout or Add to Cart.
- Enter your name and your email address and check the box acknowledging the terms.
- Click Complete My Order.
- Check your inbox. Your gift cards will be sent to the email you provided.

A: Pre-paid Visa credit cards expire 7 months after redemption. Gift cards do not expire.

To qualify for the $50 Gift Card Offer, you must book a hotel stay or car rental of $500 or more through the AARP Travel Center Powered by Expedia between June 24 and July 21, 2025. Travel must be completed by October 31, 2025. The offer is not limited to new customers and applies to all eligible bookings. One $50 Gift Card will be distributed per eligible booking regardless of the number of guests on such booking, and redemption information will be sent to the email address provided to the AARP Travel Center powered by Expedia when booking.
