Discover Erfurt comfortably from the top of a bus. Board at the special Domplatz-Süd stop for a short, fascinating tour of Erfurt's medieval Old Town. In a small, maneuverable bus, you will drive through the narrow streets, past churches and historic houses. Our experienced city guides accompany every tour in person. The tour starts with a view of Cathedral Hill with the ensemble of St. Mary's Cathedral and St. Severus's Church, two former collegiate churches. The middle tower of the cathedral houses the world's largest medieval free-swinging bell, the “Gloriosa.”

The tour then continues across Benediktsplatz with our Erfurt Tourist Information office, past the Merchants' Bridge (Krämerbrücke), one of Erfurt's landmarks and the longest bridge in Europe that is continuously built up with houses and inhabited. From there, you will reach Wenigemarkt, which was an important trading center in the Middle Ages. Along the Anger, the city's shopping street, you can admire various architectural eras, from Art Nouveau to Bauhaus. After a 45-minute ride, you will return to the starting point – Domplatz Süd.
