The rooms were small and the hotel didn't have many amentities. Also, it was summer and it was in the 90's and the air cooled is definetly not the same as air conditioned. The room was terribly hot during the day and still hot at night to sleep. Be careful if you book for summer months.

駅の目の前で立地は最高、同じ建物内にCoopもありとても便利でした。 フロントの対応も非常に良く、部屋も清潔でぜひまた利用したいです。 ただ、エアコンが無いのが唯一の欠点で、真夏に宿泊したため夜が少し寝苦しかったので星マイナス1で4にしました。真夏以外に泊まるにはとてもおすすめの宿です。

We visited Zurich last week, with our family of 2 children. We had 2 rooms, connected through one door. The main complaint we have is that this hotel does not offer air conditioning. While I am aware that temps in Zurich are often not high enough to need it, that is not the experience we had. The rooms were controlled via one set temperature, as was explained to us, but the problem is that when you are on a top floor, or are facing south, because we did not have the ability to control our own unit, we were at the mercy of the windows, which did not offer any resolution. The hotel states they set their rooms at 22 degrees as a way to become efficient,but without any central heat or air, there is no possible way to ensure each room is heated or cooled to a reasonable temperature. When we complained to the hotel, they did provide fans, but fans only circulate warm air! I say this as someone who has traveled a lot, all over Europe and Latin America. How a hotel can advertise they are 4 stars and not offer climate-controlled rooms is a shock to me.

We had a lovely stay at Locke Am Platz! Thao gave us a wonderful check in, and the hotel made us feel very special for our honeymoon, it was unexpected and very kind! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, brilliant location, peaceful street and cool and unique rooms.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was well equipped and having the kitchenette was useful. There was no air con or fan which was disappointing given the heatwave. Location is great. Breakfast is basic but enough to keep you going till lunch.

Hotel is well located with Railway Station Enge across from the hotel and trams stopping in front as well. A taxi from Central Station cost 40 CHF so alternatives worth considering. Room was a good size and comfortable.The kitchenette was useful but we thought the dishwasher unnecessary with limited crockery etc. The room lacked shelves/ drawers to unpack our suitcases though some hanging space. (Not well designed IMO) The bed was comfortable but quite high. My wife who has a medical condition used a step which receptionist staff supplied Appreciated. Breakfast - staff was helpful with a special diet but standard for a continental breakfast in this country I guess Some nice pastries and a toaster were missing in a number of European countries. Would have used the fitness centre but didn’t want to spend 10 minutes braving the cold and drizzle to get there. Meals are expensive so we made use of things from the supermarket at the station
