We loved our stay here where staff could not have been more helpful and the boss Sophia led from the front by an example of friendliness and genuine pleasure at sharing the hotel made us feel at home. Breakfast was well worth lingering over and catered for all tastes. The steam room & sauna may not be needed in midsummer heat but we enjoyed the facilities after some serious hikes.

What a wonderful, cozy stay! We stayed 2 nights in the Matterhorn Suite. The views of the Matterhorn from the rooms are breathtaking! The hospitality was remarkable, most notably from Michael! Breakfast was superb and included in the price of our stay. It’s our second time to Zermatt and when we return, we will book again with Hotel Chesa Valese!

Absolutely stunning views! We could see Manhattan clearly from our room every single day. On one morning, the sunrise painted the top of the skyscrapers in a way that made them look like glowing candles—it was magical. The breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of hot dishes and fresh fruits. The staff were all friendly, and the shuttle service to the station was very smooth and reliable. Highly recommended!
