We really enjoyed this hotel, great staff and breakfast. Good location easy walk to attractions. Hope to return someday. Recommend highly. No lift, so try for lower floor when booking.

The location is not very near to the centre but it’s still manageable for a 20-minute walk. There’re also some restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The parking lot is at the rear of the lodge. Don’t trust Google Maps which would direct you to the front. We got a room on ground floor and I could park the car just outside the room. It saved us efforts of moving our luggages. The full breakfast was excellent though it lacked black pudding of traditional full English one.

Good location with several good restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, although bathroom was a bit dated and breakfast options were mostly cooked. Overall, great budget option and would certainly recommend.

Great location and at a reasonable price, just a short walk from the city centre with the added bonus of free parking. Spacious room and bathroom but if you did want to watch tv, this was miniscule. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very nice. The staff here were so friendly and helpful especially on reception. Would certainly return.

The reception staff all went above and beyond to assist us when we had any enquiries or needed some extra heating for when our room was cold. They also made sure to give information of how to reach the city centre and any other locations. Even the restaurant staff were all of high profession and the food quality was superb.

Ideal location if you’re happy to have a walk into the city and would like a peaceful room. Price is reasonable for the room. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Good choice for breakfast and friendly servers. Would happily stay there again.
