“Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!”

“A character historic pub in a nice rural location, although roads are very Devon and narrow in places! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good food and service with a selection of beers with real ale under gravity from the cask. Very popular with diners on a Saturday night. Room reflected the nature of the property but was clean and comfy. Good selection and quality for breakfast. Went with trad English but kippers and salmon on offer.”

“Lovley clean room and bathroom. 2nd floor room with quite steep stairs, no lift so beware if you are not very agile! Room 6 is basically in the roof, OK in winter but would be very warm in summer and noisy with gulls around as overlooking the other rooftops. Toilet had a macerator which was noisy and didn't quite flush properly once or twice - wouldn't like that again!
