“A truly amazing place to stay for independent adult travellers. It's not far from Port Willunga, McLaren Vale and road connections, but it is comparatively remote. You have to be self-sufficient as the staff are not on site most of the time. Expect to drive for shops, restaurants etc - and as there are no cooking facilities, you need to do that, or have meals delivered - but that is the charm. “Very Disappointing Accommodation. The cabins were extremely dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly. The bedding was stained, smelly and covered in hair. The bathroom was filthy, kitchen equipment was sticky or greasy and the outdoor furniture was unusable. Every surface inside and out needed a thorough clean. The only positive was the convenient location near to the Kangaroo Island Ferry.”
