All the pools were amazing! We spent most of our time at the palace in colonial. Nice, big rooms at the palace, very comfortable. Food available all the time, always something everyone will like.

Barcelo maya palace is overall one of the best all inclusive resorts in the area. Has an excellent beach area with very big pool. Rooms very clean and staffs very nice. Food and drinks are good.

We enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful resort however very large in terms of distance. Alot of walking which is manageable if not physically impaired, there are ramps. Food and drinks are top notch. Lobby bar drinks are very well made. Food at the buffet is fresh. Pools are big and we never had a problem with finding loungers.
