The property is beautiful and large. There were always beach and pool chairs available. We enjoyed the complimentary water therapy experience at the spa and the yoga classes at the fitness center. In general, the staff was helpful, but not as friendly and engaging as some other resorts. The staff's proficiency in English wasn't as good as resorts closer to Cancun, but my Spanish isn't as good as their English! Specialty restaurants were a lot of fun especially the Asian hibachi experience. Buffet food would be much better if there was salt and pepper on each table.

We gave Barceló another chance and I’m so glad we did. The food improved a lot since our last visit, the pool was always clean, and the amenities were great. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely come back.

Our 5th time here. The staff is great! Amenities are great! Food was okay. The beach this time had a lot of seaweed and the hotel did not make any effort to clean it. That was disappointing as well as the fact that we asked for a room upgrade and it seemed that it was overlooked. Not many night activities this time as well. The hotel had less tourists this time which I don’t if it’s a good or bad thing.

I've been here several times over the past few years. Always the best resort in the area! Staff is unparalleled in their professionalism, facilities are immaculate and the amenities are really unlimited. Highly recommend for everyone, family, solo, couple! 5 resorts for one.. Fast check in. Very polite and helpful staff. Easy to get restaurant reservations. Big variety of food, and it also good taste. Spa is amazing. Nice beach with white sand, and shallow water. This time was a lot of seagrass, but it isn't about hotel, it's about nature.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort! It is a large property with clean, well-maintained grounds and comfortable, spotless rooms. The food, drinks, and entertainment were all very good, and we especially enjoyed the convenience and quality of the room service. As an Expedia VIP member, we also enjoyed the VIP treatment, which made our stay even more special. Having access to the sister resorts was another great benefit, especially since they have larger pools. We also loved the complimentary Hydro Spa — it was a wonderful way to relax and unwind. A special thank you to the wonderful team members who made our stay truly memorable. Maria Jose and Brayan at Reception were always helpful and welcoming. Thank you to Adela for preparing our welcome drinks and starting our vacation on such a lovely note. At Cielito Lindo, a big thank you to Laura, the hostess, for helping us with our birthday cake request, and to Anahi, Judith, and Roberto, our waiter, for their attentive and friendly service. Thank you as well to Miguel at the spa for making our experience so enjoyable. At the Italian restaurant, we truly appreciated the excellent service from Jesús, our waiter, and Vianey, the hostess.
