“Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

“Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend”

“Es un hotel junto a un pub del mismo regente, las habitaciones son amplias y hay parking gratuito en el area del hotel-pub”

“Had a great stay at the White Lion - the staff were amazing and looked after us. The hotel is within easy reach of the train station and right in the middle of Hebden Bridge too. Breakfast was delicious too.”

“Nice”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much effort. The food was excellent and the Guiness was outstanding ! Would recommend highly .”

“Muy bien, muy acogedor.”

“The Old White Inn was in a great area and it was nice to stay in an authentic inn. On the second night of our stay, we were awoken by a person coming up the stairs pounding on all the doors on our floor and trying to gain access in the rooms with a key. The person was also slamming the furniture outside the hallway. This went on a few times and then we saw another person receiving deliveries at 3 in the morning and slamming the front door several times. The next morning this same person was...

“El personal es muy amable y servicial ”

“Although the building could do with a little tlc in places, our room was large, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and bar food really good too. The bar area is fairly small and well used by locals but we did find a table both nights we were there. The biggest plus for us were the staff who are efficient and friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area. It’s in a quiet area but there are plenty of walks and an ideal base for exploring other towns and sites.”

“We stayed for two nights and while the room could best be described as adequate, the public areas are spacious, clean and well-decorated. There’s a large car park; the food’s delicious and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Although the room was small and a bit dingy, we’d stay again simply because the people are so nice.”

“Repetiría el hotel. Echo en falta un control de temperatura en la habitación y más enchufes a mano, pues tuve que desenchufar la televisión para preparar un té. También eché en falta que en la recepción no tuviesen un adaptador para enchufes. El restaurante muy bueno, fantástico y su bodega más que aceptable.”

“Fantastic place to stay! Lovely room, massive bed & spacious shower room. Looked very new as everything was in spotless condition. Breakfast great too. Would highly recommend!”
