Even though this hotel does not have a pool, but the grounds are beautiful, flowers and trees, gardens, fish ponds, farm where hotel guests can feed the goats and fish, also the cute rabbit, the hotel grounds are permeated with variety of flower fragrances. But one thing particularly special about this hotel, it is not their beautiful infrastructure, nice restaurants, food and hotel pleasantries, but the hotel staffs, every hotel employee was exceptionally courteous and helpful, each greeted us with sincere smiles, my wife particularly enjoyed not only the large beautiful hotel grounds, but the warm and welcoming hospitality by the entire hotel staff, from managers to the gardener, every detail was well attended to, a 5- star VIP treatment. We thoroughly enjoyed our multi-nights stay at Plataran Bromo. We will certainly recommend this hotel resort to anyone seeking and expecting the highest level of services. Plataran Bromo and its staff, job well done and we sincerely appreciate your hospitality and care.

Bromo in luxury

Outstanding, luxurious hotel a few kms away from Mount Bromo. We booked 2 deluxe attic rooms. Rooms were sumptuous, each with 3 beds and a shared living area. Views, when the clouds didn’t drop, were breathtaking. Food was excellent - the best we had in Java. Staff were incredibly helpful. Hotel can arrange trips to see Bromo but do book this in advance. If you want to see Bromo in luxury this is the place for you.

Bromo in luxury - 10/10

Outstanding, luxurious hotel a few kms away from Mount Bromo. We booked 2 deluxe attic rooms. Rooms were sumptuous, each with 3 beds and a shared living area. Views, when the clouds didn’t drop, were breathtaking. Food was excellent - the best we had in Java. Staff were incredibly helpful. Hotel can arrange trips to see Bromo but do book this in advance. If you want to see Bromo in luxury this is the place for you. There’s a lot of basic accommodation on the Bromo slopes. Plataran will cost more but is excellent value for the very high standard of accommodation.

Super hotel!

This is the first hotel that actually provides you with 2 racks to put your suitcases on. Good thinking! Very nicely designed, modern hotel with interesting old cars etc. on display. The room on the second floor was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. A plate with fruit was also there. 4 free bottles water. There seems to be no heating so in the evening It is a bit chilly. They can provide a jeep to take you to Bromo. The staff speak limited english. But Mr. Nana at the front office, is fluent and was very helpful with all our questions. Compliments for him! The restaurant offers a variety of good food, and beer.

Mar Stay at Plataran

Amazing hotel. We got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The view (when clear) from the hotel was stunning. Hotel service was great, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Food options around the vicinity however were rather limited given the Hotel's location. Also in Mar it was raining every day - better to come during non monsoon season middle of the year.

U kelas mezanine sangat tidak nyaman. Km di lt 4 lt 3 resto dng kondisi ada void terbuka. Sd jam 10 msh rame tamu dan noisy. Kmd crew jg noisy saat prepair n cleaning. Gak bisa istirahat. Pdhal hrs bangun jam 2 u sunrise. Ada tamu yg bawa anak kecil jam 12 nangis. Kondisi km mezanine tdk kedap udara. Sebaiknya kl km full ya tunda aja. Jng ambil mezanine. View n layanan jempol banget. Bonfire dinner 🔥👍

The new hotel manager, Vivek, welcomed us warmly at our arrival and was sure to take care of anything we needed. It can get pretty chilly in the evenings on top of the mountain on which the hotel is situated, so we asked for a bonfire dinner. Vivek made it happen. The special Indonesian meal was excellent and the fire surely warm.

Best mountain lodging experience in Bromo with excellent facilities. The food at the Terrace restaurant is delicious and with reasonable prices. The cute nursery and green house is a beautufil manicured garden with birds and fishes ...a nice surprise facility that u won't usually find in other hotels. However if you have very young children who loves to run around please use extra caution as some of the areas such as the garden in front of the villa and the stairs from the green house to the terrace resto need some safety enhancements like putting some railings.
