Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort.”

“The hotel was very well situated on a pedestrianised street. WiFi was very good. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice. The staff are helpful. The only thing I thought missing from the room was a dressing table with a mirror & seat, but otherwise plenty of storage.”

“The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful suggesting places to visit during our stay. Our room was beautiful, with some lovely touches. We had a coffee maker and yummy biscuits in our room. We also had dry robes in the wardrobe to use at the beach over the road. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as was dinner. “The staff were all incredibly cheery and helpful. The food was excellent (coleslaw to die for!). The local beer, Hicks, was a good temperature. Fantastically cheap breakfast of anything! Dogs welcome in any room. England World Cup game was televised but the supporters were put in a large TV room away from the residents.”
