Pleasant Hill motel is very pleasant

The place may look old, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. Also, there's a great diner a sport walk away.

I was looking for a simple clean and safe landing at a low price that preferably had a working AC unit and a TV that worked and what I found here was precisely that. For this price point I had room seven and it was very quiet, very safe, my car was right at my front door, the bathroom was perfect, the linens were fine, bed was clean, TV was operating well and I felt the temperature was as it should be with the AC unit... there was also a fridge that worked well and a microwave and sufficient lighting. I picked up coffee at the WaWa 4 miles away for the morning. 'V' at the front desk was very helpful🙏

I’m not used to staying in a small motel, but they were very nice. Rooms were not readily available in the area so we were lucky to find something. They were very friendly and the rooms are decent for one night.

This property needs a lot of tlc. The screen door was almost ready to fall off. The room air conditioner was very noisy, and it kept cycling on and off which made it impossible to sleep. And the TV was located so close to the a/c that it was not possible to hear it when the a/c cycled on. There was also just one chair in the room and only one night stand next to the bed. There was no facial tissue (Kleenex) in the room and the toilet roll was almost out, with no spare roll to be found anywhere . There was also no place to hang clothes, no iron or ironing board, and certainly no coffee or breakfast offered. At least there was a nice diner close by.

Nice little Road Side Motel

Even though this is a small road side motel it was comfortable, clean, and with a beautifully renovated bathroom. There was no coffee machine to brew your morning coffee but I was not expecting it as this is not like the standard hotel. Everything I needed was provided.

The room is clean. The staff is very friendly. Courteous and helpful. The room is spacious. The bath room needs to have the soap dish. No place to put shampoo and soap. We have to use the plastic cup to put the shampoo and soap on the floor. Would like to suggest a towel bar in the bathroom which can help to steady oneself if the bathroom floor is slippery.

We stayed there a few nights, the last night we stayed- we noticed a live rat in our room and the owner tried blaming us for “leaving the door open” when we were getting our stuff in our room even though we never left the door open as we were right outside the door at all times and never seen a rat go inside our room. The owner did give us a new room though, which was nice since we had a small child. The new room we got had a very loose shower head and the water was burning hot and wouldn’t cool down, I had to turn it off and on to get the temp set just right. Other than that, it was a very quiet and very clean place to sleep.

The room was fine, and generally clean. My main issue was I found a single live bug on the bed right when I arrived. I killed it, but then saw two more bugs crawling on a fleece blanket inside the bedding. I balled up the bedding and took it to the manager, who replaced all of it. I did not see any more bugs (I thoroughly checked under the mattress and near the wall), but was kind of paranoid about sleeping there. The bugs were not bedbugs or cockroaches. It has been over a week and I was not bitten, so I think I'm okay, but I will not stay there again because of this issue.

If you were looking for four walls to sleep in, don’t care about cleanliness, smells, or sketchy people, this is a suitable hotel for you. Otherwise, I would spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else. Beyond the decor, being outdated, the carpets are stained. There was old food in the fridge and microwave, not cleaned from the previous guest. Parking is very unclear and I was happy to leave.

The room was adequate- no more no less. Pleasant Inn looks like a BnB from the photos but is a roadside motel that accommodates residents. The smell of pot filled the outside air since the rooms were No Smoking. It was clean. It was a bed. The AC was very loud.
