this was our 2nd visit and we enjoyed the location in Pietermaai, this time we had a room with city view, which was a bit more noisy with the traffic then we thought. beach side is nice, pool and ocean for a swim.

Amazing staff, super friendly and made us feel very welcome. They helped us plan a birthday surprise, had great dining suggestions, and were even able to facilitate us renting a car for a few days. The property was enjoyable and its proximity to everything was very convenient. Can’t wait to come back!

The location is truly ideal, being close to the airport and within walking distance to various shops, restaurants, and museums, making it easy to explore the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff was exceptionally kind and friendly, ensuring that my stay was memorable. A particularly special highlight was the surprise bottle of champagne they arranged for my 60th birthday. It made my celebration even more unforgettable! I can confidently say that Scuba Lodge City Beach is a wonderful place to stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Simply wonderful !! I totally recommend this place. The room was lovely, quiet and clean. The king bed extremely comfortable. The location is perfect (In the city + in front of the ocean, 2 swimming pool, a beautiful restaurant, what more can I say!), the staff members of Scuba Lodge has also been very helpful (if you need to rent a car-transport from the airport, etc.) everything was so easy. We hope to go back soon!

The front desk staff were friendly and super helpful. Loved having access to a smaller pool as well as the infinity pool and the chairs in the sand overlooking the water. We appreciated to location - we were able to walk to/across the floating bridge, and to where the free walking tours were (highly recommend), and walk to some amazing restaurants near by! (Breeze Number 5 was our favorite for steak!).

Purpose of this stay was diving. Dive Center Pietermaai is just 4 doors away from Scuba Lodge. I just walk there and back. Outdoor shower by the pool next to reception was used to rinse off myself and my scuba gear after my dives. Nothing available to hang wet scuba gear out to dry. I just drape my equipment over chairs. Room was comfortable and spacious for me, a solo diver. However the mattresses have a pronounced dip/sag in the middle. Needs new mattresses. Housekeeping was wonderful and food in the restaurant (De Heeren@Sea) was yummy. Punda and Queen Emma pontoon bridge is just a 15 min walk away.

The staff was fantastic! Super friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily. We were right off the water and went snorkeling daily with excellent visibility and many tropical fish! The hotel restaurant was great with reasonable prices.
