“Great location, friendly staff and lovely room well equipped with all amenities”

“Excellent accommodation, very obliging staff and excellent continental breakfasts. Would recommend every time.”

“Quirky hotel with comfy beds and rooms, quiet and peaceful”

“Our room had a nice view down the hill. Parking was free. Bathroom was small, the sink the size one can sometimes find in a small powder room - definitely too small. At evening time somebody cooked or fried a fish dish and the unpleasant smell was noticeable in our room as well. Unfortunately, it was still too cold outside to open the window overnight. Smelling the fish all night was not great.”

“Clean room”

“Our room was clean and well appointed. It was an adequate size with a separate bathroom. The place is a little dated but clean and comfortable. The bed was a generous size and was comfortable. Unfortunately we were in the corner unit 1 to the left of the reception area and the outlook was the back of the office with cleaining equipment and rubbish bins. We didn't spend anytime outside so it wasn't an issue but I would recommend requesting a room in the middle of the complex if...

“Doesn’t look like much on the outside but the place is lovely, very clean spacious modern room and VERY convenient to the hospital.”

We were very grateful to be offered an early check-in and late check-out, which made a world of difference. My father had just turned 90 and had undergone surgery, and we were travelling down from Auckland. The flexibility with our check-in and check-out times made visiting him during hospital visiting hours so much easier and way less stressful. We stayed in the Deluxe One-Bedroom, which...

“Good property. Close to the city centre and walking distance to the restaurants.”

“Awesome room and staff booked the room on short notice. Staff was very accommodating and obviously take pride in the hotel and keeping it clean. Would definitely book again”
