“Gorgeous old pub with lovely dining room and exceptionally good food. Nicely appointed rooms in converted out buildings with thoughtful touches. Incredible views over the South Downs. Only negative was poor sleep in soft bed.”

“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”
