“Lovely one night stay. Delicious meal in the 2010 brasserie”

“Place excellent great staff nice food only problem was there was no chair in my room if you lay on the bed you fall asleep but great place”

“Clean room, quaint structure, excellent cuisine and extremely helpful staff. Within walking distance of city Centre and the Racecourse. Highly recommend!”

“Beyond disappointing. We previously stayed initially for one night when travelling for business and the stay was so exemplary we booked for my birthday and for four nights - two at The Swan and two at The Lion in Malpas. We booked again an executive room but what a very different experience from Room 10! Initially shown to room 16 which was freezing cold in the room and bathroom. “Suitable for a short stay but not long as space is very limited in the family room. The spare bed was a sofa bed which was very springy and you could feel the springs. Tv was problematic and didnt work. Other than the negatives mentioned- the main bed was comfy and the bathroom was in good condition.”

“Very friendly staff. Great location. Plenty of parking. Lovely sitting area outside. Nice restaurant and bar. Highly recommend. Very pretty hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.”

“Perfect location (two minute walk to daughter's house); excellent breakfasts, particularly the porridge; fun pub downstairs, loved a cappella rehearsal.”

“Hotel moderno con buenas instalaciones, habitacion grande, buen desayuno y personal amable y competente”

“FANTASTO para mi nessisito. In English, I tend to look for imperfections, but I could not find a fault in my 3days stay. The setting is wonderful and the staff were ALL happy and helpful.”

“El desayuno es el típico inglés. Poco más a destacar. La carne, en la Brasserie, demasiado hecha, aunque las pidas poco hecha. El Fish & Chips sí se les da bien. Muy buen gym. La piscina interior no llegué a probarla, pero muy buena pinta. Habitaciones correctas. Si te duchas en hora punta salen 4 gotas… a las 6 sale con presión. Eso sí, solo por visitar la parte antigua, merece hospedarse allá.”
