“We had a very nice stay at The Esklet Guest House. The owner met us on arrival and gave a very clear instruction on the parking arrangements. It is on street parking, the owner gave us a parking disc for the first night and also a permit for the following two days. Very useful to have clear instruction rather than be left to figure it out yourself. The accomodation was a large ground floor room. Very clean and comfortable. “A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.”
