The property was quaint and had a western style, which we loved! The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The grounds could use some sprucing up! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved Garth (the cat)

Good stay for a quick trip!

Great stay for a weekend trip to the lake. Would stay again if in the area. Breakfast was decent, but not a ton of options. Overall it was clean and felt safe, would recommend to others when staying in the area.

It was an odd stay for us. When we got to our room, the door was wide open. We spent a good hour killing flies, but nothing looked to be tampered with. TV stand was broken held up with wash cloth, but was functional. Older motel with cool cowboy/ranch vibe, so had interesting character. Overall I guess it was "clean", it wasnt dusty and no major pests at least. I did have to fix the sink drain stopper real quick. The reviews overall said it was wonderful, but to be honest we felt a little duped. Don't feel it was worth the price, really should have been less than $100 total, felt more like a $70-80 range of quality. Breakfast was alright, and staff was very nice though. Motel cat was friendly.

Bunkhouse motel is a clean and very affordable place to stay! It was like walking back in time as the owners were kind, attentive, breakfast was homemade and thoughtful. I would stay here again if I am in the area.
