Staff were extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. The room was lovely and quiet with a great en suite. The evening meal and breakfast in the on site restaurant was first class. Would thouroughly recommend staying here.

Lodged with my wife for a night. Food was great, including breakfast. Has an old British charm, but it was incredibly small, the rooms, stairs well and hallways. The lodgings are above their pub in the town centre. Parking is behind the property with 4 EV charging bays.

Great location for visiting Chartwell, Hever Castle and other NT properties. Able to park in rear car park each night. No air conditioning but Dyson fan in room. Also Sipsmith sloe gin in room and resident lounge. Excellent food at dinner but marred by noise from kitchen- we could hear staff shouting at each other. Breakfast variable-full English great but coconut French toast inedible and ham Benedict only had half a muffin.

The only problem as far as my wife and I were concerned were, front facing room (faced the high street) was a little noisy but the bigger concern was no blackout blind on the window and at 5 o’clock in the morning it seemed like someone had put all the lights on!! The room was very clean, the staff were excellent, breakfast was great all in all very happy apart from the above observation!
