Chalets en West Anstey

“So disappointed - avoid this establishment until something changes! We arrived just before 8pm and went straight to check in and have dinner in the restaurant, we were informed that the kitchen was busy and there would be a wait, which was fine, however 90mins later we still had no food and when it did come out it was lukewarm and three out of seven meals were missing something. “We were welcomed by Charles and looked after very well both by Charles and Alison. Alison’s breakfasts were amazing. Gorgeous location and lovely homely touches ”

“The Tiverton Hotel is located a short way in to the town off the A361, the North Devon Link Road and around a 10 minutes walk into the town centre so a good location. Plenty of parking. The room was a good size, clean, tidy and comfortable. I do feel the chair seat base cushions could do with a shampoo or was that just the wear on the material? The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Check in and out was quick and friendly. I would stay here again.”

“Very quiet location, excellent views, warm and welcoming upon arrival. Enjoyed the stay and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area”

“Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.”

“The owner kindly dried some damp clothing we had and breakfast was lovely”

“My room had not been hoovered; really uncomfortable bed and there was a constant dripping noise overnight - terrible night sleep.”
