This place is really a motel. Outside enty. The add did not say it was a second floor, no elevator. I have trouble with steps. Seemed to be family owned/run. They didn't seem to be around the motel much but in their house. They seemed nice/friendly at check in. Nowhere to be found at checkout.

I was generally satisfied with my stay. When I first arrived, there was a strange odor in the room, but the staff responded immediately to my concern and addressed the issue right away. Their responsiveness was appreciated, and I was able to stay in the same room without needing to switch. For the price, the room had everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The TV offered a good selection of channels, and having a refrigerator, microwave, and air conditioning in the room was convenient. Parking was easy, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The location was also excellent—right on Route 1 in Wells with easy access to restaurants, beaches, and the other places I needed to visit. Overall, I felt it was a good value for the money. My main drawback was that the walls were extremely thin, and noise from neighboring rooms was very noticeable. If you're a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend bringing earplugs. While I don't regret staying here and found it acceptable for a short overnight visit, I would probably explore other lodging options the next time I'm in the area.

good price, close to hwy and other facilities. surprisingly secluded, for so close to the road. I would stay there again. since I was only staying the one night, and arrived later, left earlyish, I was never aware there was a pool (not that I would have used it)
