“Very nice altogether Had to change room (I think I was downgraded) because they did not have a lift for the original one.”

“Easy to park, even though it was busy when we arrived (8pm on a Sat Eve), and received a warm welcome at Reception. Room adequate for what were required - a place to stay for a night - but could have been paid a bit more attention - the two chairs in the room were looking tired and threadbare. Bed a little uncomfortable for our liking, so not a great nights sleep for us.”

“Lovely location. Hotel furnished to a very high standard Great breakfast and food in the restaurant with friendly staff But my Comfy Double Room was high up in a new build at the back of the car park away from the river and was very hot and stuffy. A fan was provided but one would expect aircon.”

“The staff were so very helpful when we stayed here on a charity run in May 2026. They couldn't have done more to ensure that we were catered for and had all we needed.”

“The setting for this hotel is exceptional- directly overlooking the Thames and open countryside. The hotel is conveniently situated, only a ten minute walk from the station and five minutes walk from the High Street. Lovely room, spotlessly clean, wonderful pool and good breakfast. Would highly recommend.”

“The Shower is to small and old”

“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”
