Good communication but needs more clean in the rooms

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM - STAY AWAY.I booked my reservation and showed up at the "hotel," which appears to be a commercial office building. There was no one at the front desk and no indication it was even a hotel. There was an iPad at the front desk that instructed guests to enter reservation information, which I did, and gave a phone number to call. I called the phone number, which was an offshore call center - the woman on the line said I needed to pay an additional "service fee" to receive a code to access my room. This is totally UNETHICAL. I was so exhausted that against my better judgement I gave her my credit card information to get the "link" to access the room. Of course the link did not work, and I was not able to access the room, or any others. The woman gave me some other numbers to call, which of course didn't work. I never got my room, and I never saw a single person there who appeared to work at the "hotel" (empty office building), At the end I left, and called my bank to cancel my card - THIS IS A UNETHICAL OPERATION AND EXPEDIA SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM - i have filed a Financial Fraud Complaint with the NY State Attorney General - THIS PLACE IS A SCAM STAY AWAY.

🏨 The Ridge is a very small, modern hotel with a great location. Our room was tiny, but it had everything we needed for a short stay. 🧼 Unfortunately, there was hair in the shower from the previous guest, which wasn’t a great first impression. 🛏️ The bed was extremely firm and I found it difficult to sleep comfortably. 📍 The location was fantastic. It’s close to everything but much quieter than staying around Times Square, which was a huge plus for us. ✨ Overall, it’s a good option if location is your priority, but the tiny rooms, cleanliness issue and very firm bed are worth knowing about.

Clean room and staff helpful. Convenient location.
