The front desk greeted us upon arrival. They were very helpful getting us checked in and taking our luggage upstairs. The room/apartment we stayed in was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Being on the top floor the very large bathrooms had sky lights. The kitchen had everything that could be needed. The beds were comfortable and the AC work very, very well!! Check out was quick and again they helped with the luggage. The only drawback was the distance to the nearest subway station.

I went on a family trip for a week and got the deluxe studio. It had 4 beds and lots of space. It has no parking, so be prepared to pay for parking across the street if you take a car. This is also a hostel so if you don’t need a full room you can get a bed. The staff that helped me was great. I recommend.

The room is very clean. I was staying in the annex, but it’s more of Hostel then a hotel. I was sick so needed to enter my room a little earlier than the 4 PM check-in and my initial interaction with the person at the front desk was very poor, but the other woman was ultimately helpful and let me in after I waited about an hour. The front desk is in another building and I think it qualifies as one of the shabbiest places I’ve ever stayed in my adult life. And this place is 15 to 20 minutes away from the nearest Metro stop. It’s equidistant to Woodley Park and Dupont Circle. Most of the things I had to do were on the red line and I wind up walking several times up the hill from Dupont Circle. I was exhausted and I didn’t like the neighborhood at all. I’m not a young person so it didn’t work out for me at all. I really won’t stay there again.
