1. First thing we noticed was the room was dark. So we opened the shade on the exterior window and discovered that this ground-floor room faced the parking lot where men were staring at us from their trucks a few feet away. The window shade covering was all or nothing. If the window had had a sheer drapery that would have provided needed light and some privacy.
