“We love Raglan and we used to live in the area. The unit was nice and clean. But we did not like that there were no facilities to wash dishes apart for using the hand basin in the shower room. BUT THAT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO THE TOILET which we did not like at all. In fact in all the motels we have stayed in,for the first time ever we left the dishes unwashed on the bench.”

“Clean and tidy, slightly tired.”

“Loved it. Great location. Felt pretty upperclass from the moment we walked in. So fresh and so clean! From Rob F.”

“Be aware that toilets are shared, outside the room. ”

“Excellent accommodation, very obliging staff and excellent continental breakfasts. Would recommend every time.”

“Our room had a nice view down the hill. Parking was free. Bathroom was small, the sink the size one can sometimes find in a small powder room - definitely too small. At evening time somebody cooked or fried a fish dish and the unpleasant smell was noticeable in our room as well. Unfortunately, it was still too cold outside to open the window overnight. Smelling the fish all night was not great.”

“Awesome room and staff booked the room on short notice. Staff was very accommodating and obviously take pride in the hotel and keeping it clean. Would definitely book again”

“Quirky hotel with comfy beds and rooms, quiet and peaceful”

“Clean room”

“A huge thank you to the Owner/Manager, who was exceptionally helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We were very grateful to be offered an early check-in and late check-out, which made a world of difference. My father had just turned 90 and had undergone surgery, and we were travelling down from Auckland. The flexibility with our check-in and check-out times made visiting him during hospital visiting hours so much easier and way less stressful. We stayed in the Deluxe One-Bedroom, which...

“close to city friendly helpful staff. parking available . clean with heat pump. Maybe grouting on shower floor and kitchen sink wooden bench could be improved .otherwise was satisfactory for what we paid for the studio for the night .”
